50/50 or Raffle Gaming Licence
All teams who wish to sell 50/50 tickets during any event (games, tournaments, fundraisiers) MUST apply to the BC Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch for a Class D Gaming Licence before participating in any 50/50 draws or raffles.
THESE LICENCES HAVE TO BE IN THE NAME OF THE TEAM (OR DIVISION) THAT IS APPLYING -- THEY CANNOT BE IN THE NAME OF DAWSON CREEK MINOR HOCKEY.
Raffles with larger than $2.00 ticket values require a different Class licence and must go through Minor Hockey. Please contact Marilynne for assistance with these.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in suspension or revocation of a gaming event Licence, refusal of future gaming event Licence and/or denial of future access to gaming grants or funds for the entire Association.
